Alberta’s 26 post-secondary institutions are collectively sharing information and strategies to enhance security and privacy.
Facilitated by Cybera, the goals of AB SecureIT are to:
Position Alberta PSIs to make use of federal funding opportunities
Leverage existing expertise and security teams within our institutions
Coordinate and align with the provincial Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and cybersecurity roadmaps for the public sector

- Leveraging existing security programs within education landscape
- Identifying opportunities for internships, co-op programs and work integrated learning
